The Campus of Mount Alvernia

Located on the extensive grounds of the Franciscan Sisters of Millvale, Mt. Alvernia High School has provided high quality education for young women for more than sixty years.  Our school is accredited by the Middle States Association of High Schools and Colleges, and meets, or exceeds, all state requirements for graduation.

The Mount is known for its small classes, personal attention and welcoming atmosphere.  We encourage each student to develop her potential through our wide range of courses, extracurricular activities and volunteer opportunities.  Our highly competent faculty is committed to continually seeking ways to help our students develop spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, aesthetically and physically while integrating Christian values into every aspect of life.
